Flying solo today: made moulds of the turtle and the scales so that we can make more than one at once,
popped out a turtle embedded in a hemisphere to find, not surprisingly, that it sunk to the bottom,
and set an everlasting flower – from last year – into some resin.
I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
That was the end of that kilo of resin, so we went to get some more. While we were there, we picked up lots of advice for mixing and pouring which, I hope, will improve our results.
