new tool

As stoning the plums yesterday took so long, I’ve bought a new toy. It’s really for stoning cherries, but this first attempt show that it copes with our small plums very well.

It pushes the stones through

into a container below. Very neat!

Yesterday’s plums dried nicely,

but the tomatoes will need a bit longer as they’re still a bit sticky.
