sock ends; sock begins

I finished the brown/multi sock with the brown heel …

so started a new one, also in a yarn that I dyed myself.

Many sock patterns start at the cuff and work down to the toes, rather than from the toe upwards, so I thought that I’d give that a go this time. I also plan to try a heel flap on this one, rather than a short-row heel.
