finished pair and new yarn

Just as I was finishing this around-the-house pair

new yarn arrived for the offspring’s winter socks (I’ve decided not to use the Zen Garden yarn after all).

Zauberball and Zauberball crazy in colourway 2178 Helix Blechle (rather bizarrely translated by yarn shops as either Holy Cow or Holy Smoke). It is much darker than it seems in photographs: very dark navy (or is it black?), dark royal blue, dark marine blue (dark teal?) and dark forest green.
