leftovers quilt

Since many of my clothes shrank during the lockdowns and since I had to sort through almost every scrap of fabric to find leather for elbow patches for the offspring’s bah humbug jumper*, I’ve decided to make a quilt from some old faves!

Here’re piles of overdyed cottons and silks.

I agonised over the design but, when rummaging through old files, found this

which I’ve recoloured to use the colours of the cottons. I’ll have to think of another design for the silks.

And … here’re the first blocks.
