Some of the purple-flowered beans are forming. So far, the plants sown at home and transplanted to #33 are further along than those sown in situ.

and they became has-beens.

Some co-called ‘blue’ flowers are appearing. This is tweedia, a perennial, and — I’ll concede — quite blue,

agapanthus in bud — having survived the repotting,

and echinops — which is also a perennial and seems to be doing much better than last year.
