so-called metallic watercolours

The new “metallic” watercolour pencils have some nice metallic sounding colours: copper, bronze, gold, silver and so on. Though they’re not as shiny as I expected, they are nice neutrals. Here’s a 20cm (8″) piece using them as the background.

Lotsa tangles including (from the top left) oke; peacock; rose and rose bud, and forget-me-not and kunstler inside roller; bird of paradise and fencee; squid and bulb lantern inside reticulated; schmoozy and reel; with junction and flux around the edge. Phew!
