the offspring’s experiment and other shiny things

The offspring is experimenting with making coloured cores for our games pieces. Today, he filled pipettes with doubloon gold resin intending to slice the resulting cylinders when they’re set.

I made another fish from dark purple mica, this time remembering to use clear not general purpose resin.

We also made moulds of half games pieces to see if this is a way of getting dual-coloured pieces.
