a day in the garden

The first freesia is poking through

and there are several nearly ripe strawberries just taunting me.

One of the dianthus in hydro-experiment #4 is already flowering

but the ones still in soil were not even thriving, so Heath Robinson has struck again in the greenhouse as I extended hydro-experiment #5 with the remaining dianthus and set up the buckets on a shelf to drain more easily.

And, oo, oo, oo, there’s a pea almost ready to be picked. Oo, oo. oo!
