baguettes

The blurb for this recipe says that it’s not for beginners. I’m not an absolute beginner so I gave it a whizz.

My loaves looked nothing like those in the book

but, boy, they tasted fab, leading to much wolfing by the two-legged mice.

I’ll definitely try this again, aiming for fatter, straighter, prettier loaves.
