and some on the new apple tree.

Some alliums have popped up

and the rose is flowering. Whatever variety this rose is, it sends up tall shoots and flowers right at the end of them, out of reach. This year, I’ve tied those tall shoots horizontally and have been rewarded with lots of short shoots with buds on their ends.

Hydro-experiment #2 is thriving

as are the carrots in hydro-experiment #5.

I now have four handing tubes of strawberries in hydro-experiment #6. I might re-do the first two as I’ve discovered that vertical slits in the tubing work best.
