turning back

It was very waterlogged and ferociously muddy on our walk today,


though the sun was shining brightly, allowing for arty photos.


For the first time (ever, we think) we had to turn back as the path ahead was flooded

giving us a chance to try a new stile.

Meanwhile, I’ve unravelled the ribbing on the skew sock and redone it in a plain yarn.

I don’t have enough of this for both socks, so I’ll pick another colour for the second one.
