Zen

A package arrived today – yarn from Zen Garden‘s ART WALK Sock Yarn Club. Each has a little card showing the picture inspiring the colour scheme and a little button badge showing the yarn/picture with it. The one on the left is inspired by Horne Creek Fall by Ginnie Conaway, and the other by Fishing Boats on the Beach at Saintes-Maries by van Gogh. I now understand why knitters collect these yarns.

I’m thinking of knitting the boys socks for winter, but neither of these colourways is particularly masculine. I’ll just have to make some for myself instead!
